Dr. Paul Berger Scholarship

The Kiwanis Club of Fountain Valley was Chartered on November 16th 1967. Dr. Paul Berger was the first principle of Fountain Valley High School 1966. He wanted a club on campus that encouraged the students to serve their community. Dr. Berger knew a Key Club would help him accomplish this goal, but all Key Clubs must be sponsored and supported by an adult Kiwanis Club. Dr. Berger then organized the Kiwanis Club of Fountain Valley. Dr. Berger went on to become the chancellor of the Coast Community College District.

Dr. Berger passed away in January of 2005, but in his memory The Paul Berger Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors. Because of Dr. Berger's love for our community, applicants from Fountain Valley High Schools who are enrolling in the Coast Community College District are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

To apply, fill out our 2014 Scholarship form. Submissions are due July 3rd 2014.
